SlideRocket is an online slide presentation software which can be used to not only display presentations, but also to create them. There are a number of different packages to suit the needs of a variety of users, from free utilities to paid professional creation suites.

SlideRocket uses flexible software to manage the creation of presentations. The software also offers users an opportunity to view their presentations from anywhere--tablets, mobile phones or the browser of a friend (or client's) computer.

What is the history and popularity of the app?

Mitch Grasso and Mike Lingle created SlideRocket in 2006 with the intention of creating a utility which makes presentations fun and enjoyable. This application makes making presentations much easier than it normally is. In 2011 SlideRocket was acquired by VMware.

SlideRocket is a presentation application which can be compared to PowerPoint; however unlike PowerPoint it can be run on any computer without needing to install anything. It’s a web based application which has a number of advantages. Because of this it can be run on virtually any computer regardless of operating system. SlideRocket's robust grouping of unique features makes it one of the most flexible slide creation applications in the world.

SlideRocket makes it easy, and even fun to create stunning, professional looking web applications that everyone can enjoy! Navigation is accomplished by following a simple, step-by-step process, and all elements are clearly labeled and explained. Additionally, SlideRocket supports the importing of presentations created via PowerPoint, giving you several ways in which to go about creating your slides.

Slideocket account registration is one of the easiest sign up’s around, you just need to choose the account that you want to use, and then click the relevant links. There is no need to confirm any email addresses and you can use your account straight away. Paid memberships may require additional registration information.

What does it cost to use the application?

There are a number of different plans available depending on what you need to do with the software. The free plan comes with most of SlideRocket's features, though is slightly limited compared to the paid programs. The Pro plan costs $24 per month and comes with a 14-day trial.

A third option, Enterprise, is available to clients with at least 100 users. This membership option has a customizable trial and runs $360 per year.

SlideRocket is ideal for any business or individual looking for a quick and easy way to create a slideshow while still being able to collaborate and work together on it. The application is easy to use, and if you know your way around PowerPoint then you should be able to manage SlideRocket fairly easily.
